Racó d'en Josep

Traditional home cooking

About us

Home cooking in the heart of Andorra la Vella

At Racó d'en Josep we serve traditional, time-honoured cooking: homemade dishes, made with good produce and without rushing. Our menu has something for everyone: tapas to share at the bar, chargrilled meats, rice dishes cooked to order, and fresh fish and seafood too. We are a family restaurant, and in El Celler del Padrí we keep a good selection of wines to go with every dish. We want every visit to feel like a family meal: friendly service, good food and the wish to come back.

  • “A most pleasant experience. We had dinner as a family on a Saturday night, ready to try a bit of everything, and the service from both the owner and the waiters was superb. The food is homemade and prepared with taste. Not only is the seafood excellent, they also have the best pacharán in the world.”

  • “We came on the recommendation of locals, and honestly everything was delicious! To share we ordered the battered artichoke hearts, delicious! A small plate of Iberian ham, also superb, and white and black botifarra sausage; I have to say the black one is excellent, the white one we didn't like as much. And to finish, partridge legs, amazing!”
